Arrest in “Duck Dynasty” Drive-by

Despite no injuries, Robertson said that his family was “pretty shook up”

Authorities announced the arrest of a man involved with the drive-by shooting at “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson’s home.

Robertsons’ Luck

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that a man connected to the “Duck Dynasty” estate shooting was arrested and booked into a correctional center after the Friday incident.

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander and star of the TV show “Duck Dynasty,” told The News-Star that bullets were being sprayed across his property, with both of his homes being fired at.

Despite no injuries, Robertson said that his family was “pretty shook up” after a bullet went through the bedroom window of the house, in which his son, John Luke Robertson, is living with his wife and infant son.

The family has been staying at the estate due to the Coronavirus pandemic, alongside Robertson’s daughter Sadie and her new husband. Luckily, at the time of the shooting, no one was outside and nobody got hurt physically, despite the psychological trauma.

Deputies said that there were others in the car with the suspect – Daniel King Jr., although no further information was revealed. King was charged with aggravated assault, and has yet to make an official statement.
