Issues involving almost 25,000 voter registrations in the state of California have surfaced in the past several weeks. In one case, the DMV said about 1,500 people may have been incorrectly registered between April 23 and Sept. 25 because of a "processing error."

In another case last month, the DMV announced it may have botched about 23,000 voter registrations because of a separate error.
The opportunity for voter fraud is already heightened in the State of California, as it is a motor voter state, with its most recent legislation that was placed in effect in early 2016. As of April of this year, over 1 million illegal immigrants in California have received driver's licenses.
Adding to the chaos in the state, is the fact that many people have left the state changing voter demographics.
