CNN Analyst Jeffrey Toobin Suspended From New Yorker for Masturbating During Zoom Call

According to a spokesman for the magazine, currently, the issue is under investigation

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin was suspended by magazine the New Yorker, for masturbating during a Zoom call. According to a spokesman for the magazine, the issue is under investigation.

The Zoom call involved Toobin’s colleagues from New Yorker and some staff members who had key roles in the November elections, such as "establishment Republicans," "establishment Democrats," and "the military." Jeffrey Toobin was acting like "the courts."

Two sources reported that during the online "strategy session" the legal pundit was masturbating, however, it "seemed like Toobin was on a second video call" simultaneously.

The New Yorker editor David Remnick sent an email to his staff, saying that the magazine takes "such matters seriously and that we are looking into it.”

Just ahead of the masturbation revelation, Jeffrey Toobin made a statement to Motherboard apologizing for his "embarrassingly stupid mistake," saying “I believed I was not visible on Zoom," and "I thought I had muted the Zoom video."
