Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested last week on charges of perjury and child sex-trafficking, and it has long been speculated that she helped procure underage victims for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse. Maxwell was moved from the Merrimack County House of Corrections to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, officials confirmed.
Maxwell Moved, Plea Deal on the Table
Sunday saw prosecutors asking a Manhattan federal judge to set Maxwell’s arraignment in court for Friday, with a source telling The Post that a plea deal is on the table for Maxwell if she cooperates and has evidence that would “lead to the conviction of bigger fish.”
Maxwell’s arrest could also be troublesome for bigger names with connections to Epstein like Prince Andrew. Steven Hoffenberg told the UK’s Sun in an interview that Maxwell’s arrest almost certainly will lead to her cooperating with law enforcement and giving all the details about the scandal – including all those involved in it.
