Texts cited in a 500-page report released in June by the Justice Department's inspector general led to the firing of FBI Agent Peter Strzok on Friday.
The biased texts, included this text exchange between Strzok and his colleague and alleged girlfriend Lisa Page on Aug. 8, 2016.
Page questioned in a text whether Trump would become president.
Strzok replied: "No. No he's not. We'll stop it."
Page, who was an FBI lawyer and adviser to fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, resigned from the FBI in May.
Mueller, who is under heavy criticism for leading what is perceived by many to be a "witch hunt" against the President, had removed Strzok from his team after the anti-Trump texts were released.
During a hearing on Capitol Hill last month, Strzok denied he held any bias in the Mueller probe, as he told members of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees in a joint session: "Like many people, I had and expressed personal political opinions during an extraordinary presidential election."
