Friday Vote on Kavanaugh Possible

The US Senate Judiciary Committee may possible move to vote on elevating Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the full Senate - And possibly as soon as Friday.

"Judic Cmte noticed POTENTIAL exec mtg for Friday. Still taking this 1 step at a time. After hrg Dr Ford & Judge Kavanaugh's testimony – if we're ready to vote, we will vote. If we aren't ready, we won't. Cmte rules normally require 3 days notice so we're following regular order."- Sen. Chuck Grassley

Another Republican on the committee also expressed a desire to move the process along. On Fox News' Your World w/Neil Cavuto, Texas Senator John Cornyn gave these takes:

"We don't see any advantage in continuing for the judge to be continued to be dangled out there."

"The vote on the Judiciary Committee could be as early as Friday,"

"If that happens, then we will go to the floor and that process will take us until Tuesday for a final vote."

"We think the right thing to do is listen to [Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey] Ford, as we will on Thursday, but then let the process go forward,"
