GOP to Investigate Kavanaugh

Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Senator Chuck Grassley is denying that the FBI needs to look into the mounting sexual-assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh because Republicans are conducting their own internal investigation.

College Professor Christine Blasey Ford wants an FBI investigation regarding her claims.  She has stated in the past that Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were teenagers, which Kavanaugh denies. Ford wants an investigation to begin immediately, and before a Monday hearing at which she and Kavanaugh are invited to testify.

The Kavanaugh confirmation process has been a difficult undertaking as protestors have made a mess of our constitutional process and quite frankly embarrassed their political party.

Grassley stated,  “no other outside investigation is necessary.”
