How to Remove Rar Ransomware

What is Ransomware?

Ransomware is a type of malicious software that blocks access to the computer systems and valuable files by encrypting or locking them so that only the user can decrypt or unlock them.

Once the Ransomware blocks or encrypts files on your computer, victims are requested to pay a ransom in Bitcoin.

How Does Ransomware Spread?

Ransomware is delivered to potential victims in many ways, including through malicious email attachments and exploit kits.

Malicious email attachments:
Cybercriminals usually send emails that pretend to be an invoice or invoice reminder, a package delivery notice, or a security alert. The email contains an attachment containing the ransomware virus itself which then executes when opened by the recipient.
Malicious websites: Cybercriminals will create malicious websites that deceive users into downloading their files; once downloaded, the ransomware will execute on your computer and encrypt data before demanding payment for decrypting them.

Exploit kits: Cybercriminals are also propagating ransomware by using 'exploit kits,' which take advantage of vulnerabilities in browsers to infect computers with ransomware when visiting a website, or download software from unsafe websites.

How Does Rar Ransomware Work?

The Rar Ransomware encrypts your data on the system by using the ransomware. The systems that are infected with this will have their files encrypted and locked until ransoms are paid to unlock them.

Rar Ransomware is a type of ransomware that uses powerful encryption algorithms to lock the data of the infected computer. Its creators have tried to make this malware as lightweight as possible so that it can be spread via email attachments or exploit kits.
