Midterm 2018 Analysis: Trump Brings Full Employment to America on Labor Day

Celebrate Republicans. Your president has done the unimaginable - and just in time to promote in front of a midterm in just 2 months.

America at Full Employment:

The manufacturing sector, that was said to be dead in America, has added over 300,000 in the past 12 months.

Revised April and May numbers brought average job creation in the first six months of 2018 to 224,000.

According to Goldman Sachs mid year reporting:

“(Un)Steady as She Goes,” concludes: “The likelihood of a U.S. recession in 2018 is close to zero. Over the next 12 months, . . . the probability of a recession remains at about 10 percent.”

Possible Effect on the Midterms:

The Democrats, who still haven't articulated a case to regain power, face the uphill climb of convincing Americans who are better off today than they ever were at any point between 2009 and the end of 2016 that the economy should be handed back to them.

Increasingly radical candidates like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes and the overall marketing of the Democratic message by Tom Perez has alienated moderates and the party has had a firm anti-white working class stance economically.

Campaigning for tax increases for red state voters who have been the major beneficiary of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017 should not be a winning strategy.
