Trump administration members and allies are railing against the barrage of leaks coming out surrounding the probe into possible collusion between the Russian government and the Presidential Campaign of Donald J. Trump.

They are suggesting the "anonymous sources" issuing the information cannot be trusted and have called the neutrality of the Mueller team into question.

The probe is now focusing on the financial dealings of several key Trump associates including son-in-law Jared Kushner. Kushner will be discussing his business dealings with the Senate Intelligence Committee.

This case has been mostly tried in the court of public opinion as unconfirmed reports have undermined an administration attempting to defend itself when no solid proof of any collusion has ever actually surfaced.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein weighed in last night on the question of anonymous sources stating, "Americans should think twice "before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous 'officials.'"

"Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations," Rosenstein said.

Rosenstein's full statement:

WASHINGTON – Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein today issued the following statement:

“Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,’ particularly when they do not identify the country – let alone the branch or agency of government – with which the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated. Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations.”
