The Fantastic Four Shun Single Payer Healthcare

The best we got. Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) all called for a dialogue on Healthcare reform before the Senate looks to advance a healthcare bill to the Oval Office.

The American Healthcare Act has been criticized for not providing free market reforms on an industry where innovation has been bogged down due to overly heavy-handed government intervention.

The 2014 midterm election was carried by the GOP, mostly due to the fact that Republicans ran on a repeal and replace platform. Time and time again the Republican House of Representatives voted to repeal the Affordable Healthcare with the cover of a Democrat Senate that killed every measure. Now that the GOP effective has control and the ability to advance a new truly transformative healthcare bill the best they could come up with is another bloated spending bill that redistributes wealth and stifles innovation.

Senator Ted Cruz famously hijacked the Senate with his historic filibuster in the summer of 2013 and set in motion the machine that has led to Republican dominance, as evidenced by the victory of Donald Trump and 3 special election congressional victories in the first half of 2017. Its time for the rest of the GOP to catch up to these 4 Heroes on the Hill and deliver on promises made on the campaign trail.

Do you trust the GOP to deliver on its promise to bring real reform to the health insurance market? Share your opinion in the comment section below.
