Trump Lashes Out at 60 Minutes Following Interview of Former Cybersecurity Chief Krebs

On Sunday, Donald Trump blasted "60 Minutes" on CBS News, following the interview of the ex-CISA head Christopher Krebs. The President blamed the program's producers for not asking the White House to comment on Krebs’ remarks related to the latest presidential elections.

Recently, Trump dismissed Christopher Krebs from his post due to his statement that the 2020 elections were “the most secure in American history,” while the President was still contesting the outcome.

On Sunday, Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that 60 Minutes "never asked us for a comment about their ridiculous, one-sided story on election security, which is an international joke” and added that the 2020 election “was probably our least secure EVER!"

Following the November elections, Donald Trump filed a series of lawsuits in some key states in the US, pleading that the outcome was marred by voter fraud. Although some lawsuits were dismissed, the election result remains somewhat inconclusive.

In his Sunday interview for CBS News, Christopher Krebs defended his position on the election’s safety, stating that they "did a good job” and he would “do it a thousand times over."
