It was classic President Trump. A major tweetstorm Sunday morning from President Donald Trump saw the embattled leader ask for an end to special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian Collusion and foreign meddling.
It was Trump's response to the New York Times report on Saturday that Saudi Arabian and United Arab Emirate Nationals met with members of Trump’s campaign, including Don Jr., at Trump Tower in New York about three months before the election where they offered to help the billionaire developer win.
He attacked the “failing and crooked” New York Times and called it a “long & boring story indicating that the World’s most expensive Witch Hunt has found nothing on Russia & me so now they are looking at the rest of the World!”
"At what point does this soon to be $20,000,000 Witch Hunt, composed of 13 Angry and Heavily Conflicted Democrats and two people who have worked for Obama for 8 years, STOP!" Trump tweeted.
"Republicans and real Americans should start getting tough on this Scam," he added, referring his 2016 opponent Clinton.
