Earlier this weekend, US President Donald Trump called for the cancelation of states’ extended lockdowns, starting with Minnesota, Michigan, and Virginia.
Lockdowns To End Soon?
LIBERATE VIRGINIA, and save your great 2nd Amendment. It is under siege!

States such as Michigan who’ve been hit hard by coronavirus have been experiencing a number of protests. Many Americans have grown weary of the social distancing restrictions and want to see the end of the measure sooner than later.
The prolonged social distancing has raised the question on whether the act violates the Americans’ constitutional rights, as well as the economy. Millions have been left jobless by the measures implemented to combat the spread of the coronavirus, with thousands of businesses closing their doors down – some for good.
Trump’s tweets seem to be at odds with comments made Thursday afternoon while presenting new federal reopening guidelines:
“You’re very capable people, I think in all cases very capable people, and you’re going to be calling your shots,” Trump said. -President Donald Trump
Protests in Michigan have escalated to two federal lawsuits against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home orders, which are in many’s eyes way too extreme for the situation. The state has more than 28,000 registered cases of COVID-19 and close to 2,000 deaths.
