President Trump is slammed his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen after the release of a taped conversation Cohen secretly made of a chat between the two men.
Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning to address the controversy.
"What kind of a lawyer would tape a client? So sad!" Trump tweeted.
What kind of a lawyer would tape a client? So sad! Is this a first, never heard of it before? Why was the tape so abruptly terminated (cut) while I was presumably saying positive things? I hear there are other clients and many reporters that are taped - can this be so? Too bad!

The recording made by Cohen appears to reveal that Trump knew about payments to a media company to keep model Karen McDougal's story from becoming public.
The tape features Trump and his lawyer discussing specifics of a payoff and whether to "pay with cash," although the sound is distorted and Trump's instructions on that are unclear. Lawyers for Trump and Cohen are disputing what was said.
