iPhone X, XS, XS Max, or XR

The iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and the iPhone XS Max are an update of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the iPhone X. As far as the design of these phones goes, there is quite a lot of similarity between iPhone X and iPhone XS. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that both of these designs are nearly identical.

The iPhone XS Max, on the other hand, is a version larger in size with a 6.5 inches large OLED screen. The iPhone 8 Plus has the footprint just the same as the iPhone XS Max. However, the display on 8 Plus is significantly smaller than the iPhone XS i.e. 5.5 inches LDC screen. Provided this, in terms of display, the iPhone XS Max has the largest screen available on any iPhone as of yet.

At the same time, the iPhone XR boasts a 6.1 inches LCD screen along with a glass - aluminum body as compared to the XS Max and XS that have a stainless steel - glass body.

Let us move on to the specifications of these phones:

In terms of the rear camera, the iPhone XS and XS Max both have a 12 megapixels dual camera with a f/1.8 wide aperture lens, along with a f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens. The iPhone XR, on the other hand, has a single f/1.8 12 megapixels camera.

The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is of 7 megapixels in all of these phones, with each having a Face ID options except the iPhone X.

While the iPhone X comes in the 64 GB and 256 GB models, the iPhone XR comes in 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB models. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS MAX,on the other hand, comes in 63 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB models.

All of these phones, namely iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone X allow video capture at 4K. Moreover, all of these phones have an Apple A12 Bionic processor except the iPhone X which has an Apple A11 bionic processor.

Moreover, none of these models have a fingerprint scanner. Instead, they use the facial id technology for unlocking purposes.

As far as the colors are concerned, the OLED retina panels boast a richer and more vivid color with a significantly brighter screen. In comparison to that, the LCD based screens such as that in the iPhone XR and iPhone X has less vibrant colors.

Apart from this, all of these models are water resistant with the iPhone X and iPhone XR being IP67 water resistant whereas the iPhone XS and XS MAX are IP68 water resistant.

According to certain tests, the battery of iPhone X lasts about 11.45 hours whereas the other three models claim to last longer than iPhone X on video playback.

None of these models carry a headphone jack which was apparently discontinued after the iPhone 6. While it is a big concern for many people, iPhone still continues to carry on its legacy.
