Chief of Staff Kelly Excoriates Fake News And Florida Congresswoman

Retired General and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly gave a long statement yesterday regarding the manufactured scandal regarding the call made by President Trump to Myeshia Johnson, the widow of fallen American soldier U.S. Army Sgt. La David Johnson, who was one of four American soldiers killed in Niger nearly two weeks ago.

Trump has defended himself on the accusations made by U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson that he was disrespectful to Johnson’s widow with his comments during the phone call.

On Twitter he stated:

The Fake News is going crazy with wacky Congresswoman Wilson(D), who was SECRETLY on a very personal call, and gave a total lie on content! -@realDonaldTrump

Kelly gave a somber yet powerful defense of Trump as he stated he was "stunned" by the criticism of Trump's call to the sergeant's family. Kelly then accused Wilson of "selfish behavior."

Wilson would later give a nonsensical response to Miami television station WSVN-TV in stating, "The dog can bark at the moon all night long but it doesn't become an issue until the moon barks back."

This is the latest, and perhaps most disgusting attack on the President since his term began and illustrates how the media will give a prominent voice to any opponent of Trump's, no matter how frivolous the claim may be.
