GSA Signs Off On Transition While Trump Continues Challenge Of Election

On Monday, the General Services Administration approved Joe Biden’s win allowing for a transition of power. Right after the acknowledgment, the President-elect announced the names of his security members and cabinet nominees.

In an interview for NBC News, Biden said that they received an immediate "outreach from the national security shop" and his team is “already working out my ability to get presidential daily briefs” as well as on how to distribute a COVID-19 vaccine “to a person able to get vaccinated.”

Dr. Moncef Slaoui, a member of President Trump’s administration, had not reached the transition team of Joe Biden yet.

Following the GSA acknowledgment, Donald Trump thanked Chief Emily Murphy for dealing with the transition process, however, he continues his lawsuits alleging voter fraud.

Fox News reported that according to an official, the transition for Joe Biden’s team is currently ongoing.

Meanwhile, after announcing several ex-Obama officials in his team, the President-elect rejected the claims that his administration would resemble a “third Obama term,” saying that they are now facing "a totally different world than we faced in the Obama/Biden administration."
