Independent Candidate for NJ Governor Issues Statement on NFL

I am writing to share a little information about candidate Matt Riccardi. He is a 30 year old USMC Veteran conservative millennial stepping up to the plate to help his generation lead his state out of debt. Please take a look at his website, R4NJ.org. He has a very strong opinion about the NFL as many conservatives do. So many of his Generation are not standing with him. He is on a mission to help change the mindset. Please consider voting for him.

Riccardi's Statement: "For those who do not understand the anger of the public with the NFL millionaires who protested yesterday, let me explain it to you... NFL players have a right to protest, that much is true. So do White Supremacists. If you were angry with the KKK in Charlottesville, then you understand Free Speech can be frustrating. The Westboro Baptist Church has proven this for years. While we don't condone the message, we understand their right. Thus, we speak out against them. It goes both ways. Free Speech is always protected no matter how you use it and that doesn't mean you get to brand the opposition as "Racists", "Bigots", or "Hateful." In fact, those attempts to silence the Free Speech of others is akin to tools of Fascism (ironic its Liberals favorite tool). Also ironic, this has become a "Free Speech" issue, with the NFL saying these people should have the right to express their viewpoints in the workplace, when that has been EXACTLY the opposite of their sympathizers agenda for the past several years, you know, cause people can't express their views when it comes to baking cakes for weddings. These issues are not issues of legislation, but instead issues of morality. The NFL millionaires protesting an undefined cause, spitting in the face of Veterans on Gold Star Mothers Day, is the same as Westboro Baptists praising the devil for dead soldiers as a response to homosexuality. Both SUCK. Both PROTECTED. So the key to this all is, we need to understand this is a Morality issue and nothing else. The fact of the matter is the nation has fallen for a doctrine of lies, even questioning gender identity in the name of psycho analysis and inclusion and equality, all things that cannot be proven and cannot be legislated. So we have taken the government down the rabbit hole of forcing acceptance for moral issues and have ultimately been consumed by an agenda that seeks to continue its destruction of ALL that is great and moral in this nation. You can keep the NFL and the spoiled rich millionaires, who know nothing of sacrifice and nothing of the struggles within the worst communities of America. I will take my Free Speech, my Flag and my Anthem and work to preserve the GREATEST Liberties the world has ever known. Given to us by our Creator and secured through our Constitution.
