Las Vegas Video Shows Beating and Kidnapping of Woman

Metro police in Las Vegas are investigating the kidnapping of a woman from a South Valley neighborhood on Wednesday. They have released footage captured from a surveillance camera on the residence that the woman in question was running towards while attempting to escape her captors.

The video shows the woman rushing towards the house while a male captor pursues her. The male in the video kicks the woman and forces her into a white sedan before driving off with her.

The incident occurred at 12:48 A.M in a neighborhood near the 215 Beltway and Warm Springs Road, according to police.

Police say that the woman ran from the car to the house, at which point she proceeded to “bang on the door and scream for help”.

The woman can be seen to cry when she makes it to the front porch. She pleaded for the man to “Stop, stop, stop! Please” as he chased after her.

The man responds to the woman, saying “You always f*****g do that!” before he pushes her to the ground and kicks her in the torso. He tells her to “get in the car” before picking her up and grabbing her hair to take her away.

Police say that the “location and identities of the victim and suspect are unknown”. It wasn’t clear what time the incident was reported or whose house the woman ran to when it happened.

Police describe the victim as being a white woman in her 20s. The woman has dark hair and was wearing ripped blue jeans, dark boots, and a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt at the time of the incident.

The suspect has been described as a black man in his 20s. He has short black hair. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt with horizontal stripes, dark-colored pants, and brown-colored dress shoes according to police.

The pair were in a white sedan that police believe is a Hyundai Sonata with a sunroof. They weren’t able to obtain any information about the license plate of the vehicle, however.

Police urge anyone who has any information about the victim, suspect, or incident to come forward. Please call Metro at 702-828-3111 if you have any information at all. If you wish to remain anonymous then call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or make an online report at crimestoppersofnv.com.

Update: Police have successfully located and apprehended the man behind the gruesome kidnapping. The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Darnell Rogers. According to law enforcement, Rogers,  who is also the victim's boyfriend, is being charged with kidnapping and domestic battery.
