Police arrested a man for murder intentions against Joe Biden. The defendant was caught in Kannapolis while driving a van with guns and explosives.
According to a federal court order, the man held in custody is Alexander Hillel Treisman (alias Alexander S. Theiss), who had planned the terrorist act earlier this month.
Multiple Weapons and Ammunition Found on Defendant
Treisman was first held in custody in May for leaving an unattended van in a parking lot.
An FBI agent reported that through the windows, “KPD officers observed an AR-15 style rifle, a box for a Taurus .380 handgun, a canister of the explosive material Tannerite, and a box of 5.56 caliber ammunition.”
In the vehicle, the agents found five additional guns and “approximately $509,000 of U.S. currency (believed to be Defendant’s inheritance), books (about survival, bomb making, improved weapons and Islam), drawing of swastikas and planes crashing into buildings.”
Besides, the defendant has had drivers licenses from three US states, child pornography, photos and plans for possible acts of terrorism, and emails for moving to Canada.
Alexander Treisman’s lawyer reported that his trustee was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, however, the defendant rejected the claim.
Based on the evidence found, the judge ordered: “that no combination of available release conditions would reasonably assure the safety of the community, and that a preponderance of evidence establishes that no conditions would ensure Defendant’s presence in court.”
