No Shocker There: Whistleblower is a Democrat Operative

Mainstream media seems to be ignoring recent revelations that the whistleblower, whose complaint is at the center of impeachment inquiry against President Trump, was confirmed to be a Democratic operative.

“The silence is deafening. The whistleblower is a Democrat who had a professional tie to a 2020 Democrat [and] coordinated and took guidance from [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff’s staff. Schiff lied about it and his staff recommended attorneys for the so-called whistleblower,” Steve Guest, who is the Republican National Committee’s Rapid Response Director, told Newsmax.

Guest also added that the whistleblower’s attorneys all worked for Democrats, and have donated to Joe Biden’s campaign, with one of the lawyers allegedly being a member of an anti-Trump movement called the #Resistance.

President Trump’s tweets regarding this situation seem to be getting ignored:

“The Whistleblower’s facts have been so incorrect about my ‘no pressure’ conversation with the Ukrainian President, and now the conflict of interest and involvement with a Democrat Candidate, that he or she should be exposed and questioned properly. This is no Whistleblower,” the President wrote in a post on social media.

“The Whistleblower’s lawyer is a big Democrat. The Whistleblower has ties to one of my DEMOCRAT OPPONENTS. Why does the [Intelligence Community Inspector General] allow this scam to continue,” he added.

One of the whistleblower’s lawyers, Mark Zaid, acknowledged that his client had met presidential candidates from both parties, however not regarding a political matter:

“First our client has never worked for or advised a political candidate, campaign, or party. Second, our client has spent their entire government career in apolitical, civil servant positions in the Executive Branch. Third, in these positions our client has come into contact with presidential candidates from both parties in their roles as elected officials – not as candidates,” Zaid said in a statement.

Steve Guest also had some interesting finishing words about the Democrats’ attempt at impeachment, saying that it “is a textbook coordinated Democrat political smear straight out of the pages of the Russia hoax and the phony Brett Kavanaugh playbook.”
