Prosecutors: Monster Weinstein Took Penile Injection Prior to 2013 Rape

Harvey Weinstein faces multiple accusations of rape and sexual assault as his trial is expected to come to a close by March.

Erection Drugs in a Rape Case

Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Meghan Hast, serving as one of the prosecutors in Weinstein’s case, described a 2013 rape that occurred in a Manhattan hotel room.

The incident took place on March 18, 2013, at the DoubleTree hotel in Midtown East, Hast said, alleging that Weinstein had become “more demanding and violent” of the aspiring actress he was seeing at the time, and that he “forcibly took” what he wanted from her.

The woman staying at the hotel had planned to introduce a friend to the Hollywood mogul when he called her saying he was checking in from the lobby. The woman went to figure out why Weinstein would rent a room for what was intended to be a causal meeting with a 3rd party, and that’s when Weinstein pulled her inside.

“He demanded that she take off her clothes. She refused. He became louder and more aggressive. He grabbed her and began to physically undress her,” Hast said.

After the woman had taken off her clothes, Weinstein “ordered her onto the bed and disappeared for a moment into the bathroom, then came back out, got on top of her and raped her,” Hast alleges.

The Assistant District Attorney described the woman as “distraught, disgusted and horrified,” and said that when she ran into the bathroom she “saw a needle in the garbage can,” later learning it was an erectile dysfunction drug.

The 67-year-old Weinstein faces five charges, including rape and sexual assault, relating to two accusers. Previously, he’s been accused of misconduct by more than 80 women, which helped ignite the #MeToo movement.
