Roseanne Cancellation Another Example of Liberal Double Standard

Roseanne Barr made a crude joke on Tuesday. She attacked an icon of the progressive left, former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, and in the process set the Twitterverse on fire. I gave my take via Facebook and was surprised at some of the responses in the comments from conservatives:

We have seen several examples of racist rhetoric from the left go mostly unpunished. Most notably, was Bill Maher's horrific display when he interviewed Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse on his HBO program:

Ultimately, neither show should risk cancellation over a poorly executed attempt at humor. Apparently, we have reached critical mass in the era of political correctness.
