Schiff Under Fire: Gidley and Gowdy Take Shots at Impeachment Villain

New worries over alleged Russian interference in the 2020 elections have resulted in Adam Schiff getting blasted by Trey Gowdy and White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley.

Schiff’s Circus: Leaking Again!

Adam Schiff hasn’t had the best reputation for a while now, ever since the impeachment inquiry against Trump began way back in September, up to this day, many Republicans, officials, critics, and even contributors, have been slamming Schiff’s nonsense.

Recent reports, which came about as leaks to The New York Times and CNN, state that Russia is trying to help Trump win the 2020 election. CNN has since walked back the report, although the damage has been done.

“It started when this president took over in the White House and it continues today. They cannot get past themselves on these Russian lies,” Hogan Gidley told “America’s Newsroom,” calling the intelligence briefing on Russian interference a complete “joke.”

Gidley also expressed his disappointment at reporters and them using “shadowy” sources, which have something to do with Adam Schiff, asking the question of how many times will it take before journalists start “discounting everything he says.”

Despite the obviously angered response, Gidley’s comments on the subject were tamer than Trey Gowdy’s. Gowdy referred to Schiff as a “leaker,” on Fox’s “Hannity” saying that what the intelligence committee really has to be thinking about is to stop briefing “someone who has a history and is an epidemic leaker.”

Despite the reports and worries over potential interference, no evidence exists at all that shows any indication of Russia trying to toy with the 2020 race to help Trump’s campaign.

“It took two minutes this time for us to find out there was no evidence,” Gowdy said, referencing Mueller’s two-year investigation on alleged collusion between Trump and Russia.
