A severe weather system has left a trail of devastation across parts of Southern US on Sunday as the system continues to make towards the Northeast. The storm system has affected the States of Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Georgia. Tornado watch warnings have also been issued on Monday for parts of Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. According to officials, the storm has spawned multiple flash floods and at least 11 tornados. Various businesses and homes have been destroyed, and more than 100,000 residents have been left without electricity. As of now, eight deaths have been reported, including two children.
