Trump Calls for Additional Scrutiny of “Morning Joe’s” Intern Death

The case in question is that of Lori Klausutis, a former Scarborough intern.

President Donald Trump took some shots at MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Monday, calling for an investigation into an intern’s death.

“Psycho Joe Scarborough”

President Trump called for “Concast” to open up a Florida Cold Case, which involves the accidental death of an internet in Scarborough’s 2001 congressional office. Trump’s tweet was posted shortly after the “Morning Joe” host reported poll results that favor Biden.

“I know him and Crazy Mika well, used them beautifully in the last Election, dumped them nicely, and will state on the record that he is ‘nuts’,” Trump added.

The case in question is likely that of Lori Klausutis – a 28-year-old intern, found dead at Scarborough’s Fort Walton Beach office during the days of him being a congressman. The death was ruled accidental, with the medical examiner saying that the intern likely passed out due to an undiagnosed heart condition, hitting her head on a desk.

Scarborough reported poll results favoring former VP Joe Biden over Trump by six points nationally, also taking  some time to criticize the President’s Coronavirus response. Scarborough has been a longtime critic of President Trump, although Trump’s only reaction is calling the host “nuts.”
