After Hospital Release, It's Back to Work for President Trump

In footage shared on Twitter, Trump said he has learned much about coronavirus and added, “Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t let it take over your lives.”

In praising himself about his stay in the hospital, the president said that, “nobody that’s a leader would not do what I did.”

After being transferred to the While House by a helicopter, Trump posed for more photos on the balcony, taking off his face mask.

Earlier in the day, he announced on Twitter that he would be returning to the White House.

On Friday morning, Donald Trump and his wife Melania announced they had tested positive for Covid-19. After developing a fever and requiring supplemental oxygen, the US president was brought to the hospital via Marine One. There Trump received an experimental antibody treatment together with antiviral remdesivir and anti-inflammatory steroid dexamethasone.

On Monday, the White House physician Dr. Sean Conley told the press Trump’s condition “has continued to improve,” and that he would receive his fourth of fifth doses of remdesivir before being discharged from the hospital.

According to Conley, the president showed no side effects from his treatment.

On Sunday, Dr. Conley told reporters that on the day before Donald Trump had to receive oxygen at the White House, however, the president’s current health status remains unclear.

According to the Yahoo News medical contributor and chief executive of Advancing Health Equity Dr. Uché Blackstock, “This virus is still very serious,” and Donald Trump “is going back essentially to a hospital within the White House” as he and the First Lady have “the luxury of having a hospital at their home.”
