Tuesday’s public impeachment hearings saw four witnesses testifying, and not in a way that benefits Democrats, leading the investigation, prompting Trump to yet again call the impeachment a “disgrace” and an “embarrassment.”
“It’s a big scam”
The President has previously attacked some of the witnesses in the impeachment inquiry, although he said that he doesn't even know one of the witnesses who came forth Tuesday, namely Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.
“I never saw the man, I understand now he wears his uniform when he goes in. No, I don’t know Vindman at all,” - Trump on Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.
The president added that the entire inquiry led by House Democrats is a “big scam” and that “it’s an embarrassment to our nation.” Despite his comments, Trump said it all comes down to what the public thinks, and that Americans should decide for themselves what and who they think is right.
