Tzipi Hotovely is right about U.S. Jews

Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely questioned whether “people that never send their children to fight for their country” could understand the “complexity” of the Middle East.

“Most of the Jews don’t have children serving as soldiers, going to the Marines, going to Afghanistan or to Iraq,” she said on i24 TV news on Wednesday. “They don’t feel how it feels to be attacked by rockets, and I think part of it is to actually experience what Israel is dealing with on a daily basis,” said Hotovely, see full Reuters report here.

Tzipi Hotovely is absolutely correct. I am an American Jew and an American Veteran and I will explain why she is. See, I am not a statesman like our Prime Minister Netanyahu is, I can understand why he is in a position to be a bit two-faced about the sensitive issue. Me, on the other hand, is blunt, straight to the point and I do not sugar coat for anyone. I live by the Ben Shapiro motto of "facts don't care about feelings," so here is why Hotovely is correct about American Jews.

Majority of American Jews are in fact, liberals and most are rich. Why do you think Israelis have this thought when they find out you are American they think you have a lot of money. Most Jews end up living in big cities which are liberal and have easily been assimilated intoTzipi Hotovely the liberal culture of being a tree-hugging liberal. One who does not get the concept of security because they have been raised with a silver spoon. They are brought up in this phase where just because they donate to Israel they feel they can tell how Israel should take care of itself. Ask yourself, how can a someone who lived a rich spoiled life even fathom what Israel goes through, with terrorism everyday, can have the audacity to tell Israelis how to live?

Hotovely is also right about American Jews in the Military. I was a chaplain assistant in the U.S. Army. Besides my main mission of the Chaplain's safety, I was his executive officer, and with that, my duties were maintaining the Religious Demographics of the Unit. Only 1 percent of the U.S. Military are Jews. This is a fact if American Jews are hurt about this, then send their kids to the Military. During Holidays, or Shabbat services where I attended and recorded attendance, there were not many and the services with the big crowds many were non-Jews joining in. Facts do not lie. So I stand by Tzipi Hotovely comments and will defend her because it's true, and if they do not like it, then they can cry me a river, or fix it. I also agree that they really have no place telling how Israelis should protect themselves from terrorism, especially when they don't live in Israel's shoes.

  1. Keep standing strong! No need to apologize for the truth... What you said is absolutely right... Sometimes we should see things for what they really are and not be arrogant about some of the points she is speaking on... 70 years ago we had no place to escape to from the horrors of our Holocaust, including the USA. The rise of anti-semitism is lurking all around the world. It would be smart to understand the convenience Israel brings to the diaspora Jews. We all should write to the Prime Minister and his office to show support for speaking of the truth! If the PM asks you for your resignation, reject it, stand up and defend yourself. We are with you and behind your words!
