Will Pixel 3 be Google’s best phone ever?

Are you excited about what may come with the newest generation of Google’s Pixel series flagship?

Launched in 2016, Google’s Pixel smartphone series has since become one of the most interesting smartphones in the industry.

Only less than a year ago, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were introduced to the public and yet buzzes are now on for the coming of their successors – Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Leaks and rumors about the newest phones’ specifications are coming in despite Google remaining tight-lipped about its plans for their latest phones.

So, will Pixel 3 be Google’s best phone ever? For all those itching out to know what to expect from the anticipated Pixel 3 phone, here’s a sneak about what we know about Google’s Pixel 3 series so far:

Design Tweaks

Leaked image of the Pixel 3 show that it does not look much different than its predecessor, the Pixel 2 XL. But the phone does feature a deeper notch compared to iPhone X.

Pixel 3 will have slimmer bezels and will have bigger screens. Pixel 3 XL will be showcasing a notch and edge to edge design. It’s also said that both phones will be available in at least two colors, black and white.

Specifications and Performance

The third generation Google phones will be using the latest Android Pie OS. The OS has been directed at enabling smartphones to attain optimum performance with enhanced battery saving features. Both phones will also use the most advanced chip there is, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and from earlier rumors one of them will have 4 GB RAM and there’s even a chance that one of the two variants will bump up at 6 GB RAM.

One of the most interesting news so far is that, there are hints that the Pixel 3 XL is likely going to feature wireless charging. This has been backed by several photos of the phone with a back material that resembles that of a glass instead of a metal.

Camera and Display

According to leaked news from Bloomberg, both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will incorporate dual front facing cameras and a single rear camera.

Pixel 3 will be sporting a 5.4 inches screen display while the Pixel 3 XL will have a massive 6.2 inches screen display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

Industry Leaks for the Pixel Fans

When will the latest Pixel phone be released?

Various sources have reported that the latest Pixel series phones will be released this October. You see, back in 2016 and 2017 Google released their hardware on the same month, which was the 4th of October to be exact.

Industry leak hilariously from Google itself posted in a Famebit ad also seem to affirm speculations that Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will start gracing the smartphone market this October 4.

Are we going to see three Pixels?

Well, this one may come as a surprise but there are speculations that we will be expecting not just two but three new Pixel phones this year. News has it that as Google attempts to make their product more known in the market, the company will be launching a cheaper midrange Pixel. It’s unclear though whether the said budget model will be brought to the US as well, and if Droid Life’s report about two premium phones and one high-end phone really meant that 3 new Pixels are in the making.
