All You Need To Know About Tonight's Debate in Nashville

The final presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will take place tonight at Belmont University in Nashville

Debate Topics to be Discussed Tonight

The debate, which was initially postponed due to President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis, will last 90 minutes, divided into segments of 15 minutes discussing six different topics, currently subject to change.

According to the Commission on Presidential Debates and the debate moderator Kristen Welker, the six major topics the candidates are going to discuss are fighting COVID-19, US families, race in America, climate change, national security, and leadership.

Although CPD has never announced the subject of the final debate would be foreign policy, the US president’s campaign accused the commission of changing the debate's focus in Biden’s favor.

In a letter to CPD, Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien expressed concern over the debate topics, stating they “are serious and worthy of discussion”, however, they were "discussed at length" during the first debate, and the subject of the final debate was supposed to be foreign policy.

Stephen also added that "this is not the first time the Commission has ceded to the wishes of the Biden campaign."

At this point, there is no information if the Trump campaign manager’s letter will result in a change of some kind.
