Dan Perkins: The Truth About Democrats Is That They HATE the Truth

One of the most important political questions of our nation has been and continues to be, "Why do blacks vote for Democrats?” Look at the recent controversy when President Trump criticized the living conditions in Baltimore. Their congressional representative, Elijah Cummings (D), called President Trump remarks "racist." It appears that the Democratic answer to any charge by a Republican is to attack the questioner as a racist and never respond to the charge or question.

A video surfaced from 20 years ago where Cummings was saying of his own city, it was, "Drug Infested." Are rats a problem in American cities? MHPonline.org has created a list of 10 cities in the Western world with the most significant rat populations. America has the distinct honor of having 8 of those 10 cities. Standing at number 6 in the rankings is the city of Baltimore, the very one that President Trump suggested was rat-infested. He wondered what had the Democratic Party, which has controlled Baltimore for many decades, done to deal with their rat infestation? Baltimore Resident spoke out: “What (President Trump) said was definitely true (Cummings) hasn’t done anything for us” The Democratic response to the President’s assertion was not to respond. Instead, their answer was that Donald Trump is a racist for raising the issue.

I have created my own list. It shows the ten largest US cities in terms of total population of Black American, the MHP Online world ranking of rats, and last, the political party leading each city:

Have you noticed that the tide has turned against the Democrats on half of those cities with world rankings of rat infestation? The reason the tide has turned is that the truth came out. A number of black people who live in those rat-infested cities have spoken out in support of what the President is saying. The President speaks the truth and the media was told. I will provide some examples of the Democrats being caught lying.

The leading Democrats are making statements as to what they believe, but many Americans, regardless of color, don't understand what the politicians are saying. In many cases, they know the Democrats are lying: Following are some examples of what the Democrats are saying, but not telling the whole truth or they are flat out lying to us and hoping that we will believe what they are saying and vote for them.

If a Democrat says something, then it must be true. Cory Booker (D-NJ), the junior senator, said he "Demands Trump Cancel All Campaign Rallies because they; 'Inspire White Nationalist Attacks'.” I think it is the height of arrogance to presume that Cory Booker, one person, makes the decision to change the Constitution. He is not telling the American people the truth with his demand. I think what he really wants, as a socialist or communist, is to take away one of your rights under the Constitution, limiting your freedom of assembly. By couching what he wants to do to stop White Nationalists, he is, in fact, lying to America because it is excellent fodder for the left. They know such a bill will most likely never pass the Congress and be signed into law by the president. If it is signed into law, it will be challenged in the courts and probably never be upheld.

How about one of the leading Democratic Socialist candidates, Bernie Sanders, who has been pushing his healthcare plan did he tell the truth? However, he has never told the voters that he is going to have to raise their income taxes to pay for his social welfare program. Now he is telling people that income tax rates for the middle class will have to go up to pay for his health care plan. He has been lying continually to us the voters about the real cost of free healthcare for all.

Charles Blahous, from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, refutes Sanders' assertion that the proposed healthcare legislation would lower the projected cost of all health care expenditures by $2 trillion. It is likely that the actual cost of ‘Medicare for all‘ would be substantially greater than these estimates, which assume significant administrative and drug cost savings under the plan. It also assumes that health care providers operating under ‘Medicare for all‘ will be reimbursed at rates more than 40 percent lower than those currently paid by private health insurance.

Healthcare is high on the list of essential items for voters, but it appears that telling the truth will not attract voters to the Democratic Party, so Democratic candidates have to lie to gain voter support.

I could go on and on, but one last lie: Joe Biden, at an AARP event in Des Moines, described his health care proposal, “If you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it. If you like your private insurance, you can keep it.'" His boss, President Obama, made a similar pledge 37 times and CBS reported this was the lie of the year. Here, we have the head of the Democratic Party, the former president of the United States, lying to the American people. Obama was designated the liar of the year.

Perkins Twist: Over the next 30 days, keep a note pad next to your TV remote and every time you hear a Democrat call a Republican, or one of their ideas, racist, then make a line on the paper.
