Immigration Tweet Storm Ahead of Caravan Standoff

President Trump expressed his feelings regarding the migrant caravan headed to the southern border of the United States on twitter early Thursday in a series of tweets.

He called out the governments of the countries located on the path to America, namely Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico, along with the Democratic Party.

After watching idly as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) expired, the democrats have done little in terms of addressing the issue legislatively.

Last, prior to the expiration of DACA the President called for new bipartisan legislation addressing the estimated 600,000 to 800,000 so-called dreamers. Congress has yet to deliver on the President's request, again making the issue of immigration a central theme of the 2018 midterm.
