“Killah Dre” Caught After Killing Police Officer with Vehicle

Rapper “Killah Dre” was arrested Thursday on serious charges that he might not get out of with a $50,000 bond this time around.

Nassau Bay Police Sgt. Kaila Sullivan was helping out in a traffic stop Tuesday night when she ran into Tavores Henderson aka “Killah Dre.”

It was found that the 21-year-old rapper had a warrant for assault, causing him to flee the traffic stop, hitting officer Sullivan with his vehicle.

The police officer later died at a hospital, and now what was an initial charge of felony murder has been beefed up to capital murder.

The Houston rapper has had a history of violence and weapons, although he doesn’t hide it. His Instagram profile is filled with pictures of him with guns and wads of cash. He was previously released in July on a $50,000 bond related to assaulting his ex-girlfriend and threatening to shoot her, a special time according to him, which he commemorated by posting a video in which he flashes a fan of $20 bills.

This time, however, he won’t be getting out that easy. Information on his trial and sentence will have to wait for the following weeks, but Henderson was arrested without any incidents at one of his friends’ homes in Houston.

“She was a police officer at heart. She came to work every day, she enjoyed the job. Her blood ran blue. She was a police officer’s police officer,” Nassau Bay Police Chief Tim Cromie said about Sullivan, who was nearing her 16-year anniversary in the Department.
