The violent clashes in Philadelphia continue. They started on Tuesday when the police gunned down a Black man, Walter Wallace.
Remembering his father, one of Walter Wallace's sons said that his father "always teach [sic] me how to be a man. And these white racist cops got my own dad. And Black Lives still matter."
By now, the riots have seen the robbery of a Foot Locker, Rite Aid, and several retail stores, and saw a car set on fire.
Police in Philadelphia advised residents to stay away from the Port Richmond area, as nearly 1,000 looters wreaked havoc on businesses like Dollar General and a Burlington Coat Factory.
Video footage shared on social media showed devastated stores and looters running out of a Walmart carrying piles of various goods. In other footage, the protesters were clashing police officers. As a result, 30 cops were wounded and 91 looters were held in custody on Monday.
On Tuesday. protesters gathered near the police station, jumping and chanting over a news truck.
Currently, the investigation into Walter Wallace's death is on, and the police requested residents remain indoors until the situation gets under control.
