Senator Graham Pushes for Dismissal of Unconstitutional Impeachment

Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Lindsey Graham pushes a new resolution for the dismissal of the unconstitutional impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.Graham condemns the Democrats’ impeachment process and “illegitimate” and lacking in transparency. He also stated that President Trump should have the rights any American has – to confront the witnesses against you.

“This process in the House is being conducted behind closed doors. Republicans are being shut out. If you had an inquiry vote, that allows Republicans and the president to call witnesses and to confront people accusing the president of misdeeds. That’s what happened with Clinton, that’s what happened with Nixon and Andrew Johnson,” Graham told Hannity on Fox News, referring to Democrats’ actions of hiding witnesses’ identities, including the whistleblower’s identity, whose complaint sparked the inquiry to be filed in the first place, refusing to give access to Republicans and the right for President Trump to confront his accusers.

Another interesting question Senator Graham brought up was the July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, in which was speculated Trump pressured Zelensky to investigate political opponent Biden and his son – something Zelensky himself denied, also denying an alleged quid pro quo.
