Texas Lt. Governor Offers $1 Million for Voter Fraud Evidence

In a press release on Tuesday Gov. Dan Patrick stated that he supports “President Trump’s efforts to identify voter fraud in the presidential election and his commitment to making sure that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is disqualified.” 

The One Million Dollar Voter Fraud Bounty

This is the first reward for voter fraud evidence by Republicans who believe there was foul play in the election. However, the media and Democrats have been quick to dismiss any allegations of voter tampering during the election process, despite the president's call for an investigation.

The ex-chairman of the Texas Ethics Commission Jim Clancy said that "You could argue that this is an in-kind contribution to the Donald Trump campaign,” nonetheless “That's his problem." In response to Clancy’s suggestion, the spokeswoman for Gov. Patrick Sherry Sylvester stated the cash offer was about election fraud "regardless of the outcome of the election" and rebuilding voting confidence.
