The Kristian Saucier pardon finally came. After over a year and a half of public outcry and rejection from the Obama administration, Sarah Sanders made the historic announcement yesterday that was universally lauded.
Some of the reaction from around social media looked like this:
Thank you #POTUS #Trump pardons #KristianSaucier, former sailor jailed for submarine pictures

#KristianSaucier did 1/100 of what @HillaryClinton did, was convicted & sent to prison. He is a perfect example of what @Comey meant when he said, "this is not to suggest, in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences." #LockHerUp pic.twitter.com/yowIETSHNH

Trump has done a good thing.

Despite the rejection, we were finally able to interview Kristian immediately following his release from prison:

Kristian Saucier is free, but will President Trump issue a Pardon? He speaks to Reactionary Times for the First Time. #PardonKrisSaucier #ClintonDoubleStandard #ReactionaryTimes

President Trump just did a wonderful thing for a struggling patriotic family. At Reactionary Times, we wish the best for the Saucier's as they continue to rebuild their lives.
