A Rudy Giuliani tweet was taken down by Twitter. The tweet in question was directed at Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Witmer.
New Twitter Rules Suspend Giuliani
“Hydroxychloroquine has been shown to have a 100% effective rate treating COVID-19. Yet Democrat Gretchen Whitmer is threatening doctors who prescribe it. If Trump is for something – Democrats are against it. They’re okay with people dying if it means opposing Trump,” Giuliani wrote before the tweet was removed, quoting a tweet made by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
Both Giuliani and Kirk’s posts were taken down and their accounts were temporarily locked, a Twitter spokesperson confirmed to Fox, due to violating Twitter’s new and updated rules aimed at the spread of misinformation regarding the Coronavirus.
Trump followed up with his own attack on Whitmer, however, albeit in a way that’s different from Giuliani’s – without much mention of details regarding the Coronavirus.
I love Michigan, one of the reasons we are doing such a GREAT job for them during this horrible Pandemic. Yet your Governor, Gretchen “Half” Whitmer is way in over her head, she doesn’t have a clue. Likes blaming everyone for her own ineptitude! #MAGA

The post came after Whitmer accused medical-supply vendors of being told “not to send stuff here to Michigan” on Friday, blaming the Trump administration for the alleged order.
