US Intelligence Agencies State Coronavirus Not Manmade, Still Investigating Labs

US officials and intelligence agencies have been talking about recent theories that the global pandemic could’ve come about as an accident at a Chinese lab, although the president took it a step further, saying it could have been intentional.

Not Manmade, Labs Still Under Investigation

US intelligence agencies have ruled out the possibility of the coronavirus being “manmade,” but Wuhan labs are still under investigation, as some evidence has been found to support the theory that it could’ve originated from an infectious disease lab in Wuhan.

“It’s a terrible thing that happened. Whether they made a mistake or whether it started off as a mistake and then they made another one, or did somebody do something on purpose,” Trump said.

New information and data, however, will be thoroughly examined to determine whether or not the virus actually began spreading through contact with infected animals or if it came from a Wuhan laboratory, as many are getting more and more confident that the virus broke free from the Wuhan Institute of Virology or another lab close to the city’s wet market.

China has denied any and all claims that the virus was released from a lab, calling them “purely fabricated out of nothing,” and many are continuing to criticize the US for their politicization of the pandemic and wanting to hold China “accountable for the global outbreak.”

Trump and other US officials have repeatedly been blasting China for its handling of the virus outbreak, saying the slow response resulted in the whole world being affected, although the US’ own handling has come under criticism recently.
