“Well, I, I, I don’t know”: Kamala Cannot Name a Law Giuliani Has Broken

One question from CNN host Anderson Cooper saw quite a bit of hesitation and a crumbling of Sen. Kamala Harris’ claims that Rudy Giuliani has “clearly broken many laws.”

“I’m just glad to see that the process is beginning to really do the investigation into Rudy Giuliani. He has clearly broken many laws,” she said in response to news that Giuliani attempted to secure a State Department visa for Viktor Shokin, former Ukraine prosecutor, who promised Trump’s attorney dirt on Democrats.

Harris said Giuliani’s actions showed “further evidence of corruption” by the Trump administration, and that he violated an “extraordinary number of rules and ethical laws,” however when Cooper asked “Are there specific laws that you believe has broken,” Harris took a bit of a step back, stumbling on her words - “Well, I, I, I don’t know.”

The lawmaker then went on a spree of speculation on how many and what kind of crimes Giuliani has committed, talking about abuse of power, bribery and lying about the breadth of his work, although despite all her claims, no evidence was presented to back anything she said.
