Woman Who Was Falsely Declared Dead Dies at Hospital

A young woman from Detroit was falsely declared dead and found alive when she was taken to the funeral home. The family attorney Geoffrey Fieger reported that Timesha Beauchamp (20) died shortly after she was rushed back to the hospital.

A Deadly Mistake

On August 23, Timesha’s family called 911 due to her breathing problems. After the paramedics found Beauchamp had shown no signs of life for 30 minutes, they reported her death on the phone, and the doctor who was not present on the scene pronounced her deceased.

Instead of taking her to the hospital, the young woman was driven to Cole Funeral Home in Detroit. An hour later, the funeral home workers saw that Beauchamp’s chest was moving and called 911.

Timesha Beauchamp has been hospitalized in critical condition and died a bit later.
